Changes can be made to a document's certification information defaults when the document requirement is in Prereleased or Current status by using the Change Defaults functionality. Changes to the defaults will be propagated to the user's profile without having to deactivate and re-activate the role requirement.

Refresher Certification Required? |
If this checkbox is checked, a refresher certification is required. |
Refresher Interval Days |
Specify the number of days the user has to take the refresher certification. |
Grace Days for Refresher |
Specify the number of days after the refresher interval occurs that an individual must be re-certified. If the refresher is not completed within that time frame, certification is expired. |
Refresher Advance Notice |
Specify the number of days in advance the Person must be notified to take the refresher. |
Requires Retraining if Previously Trained |
This is used for refresher certification only. This field specifies whether individuals must retake the training even if they have taken it in the past. The following three elements of training are evaluated: Training, Assessment, and Checklist. Always - If selected, the person must always retake the training, no matter when it was taken in the past. Never - If selected, the person does not have to retake the training, no matter when it was taken in the past. Duration - If selected, the person must always retake the training using elapsed time, no matter when it was taken in the past. Elapsed Time - If selected, the person must retake the training if it's past the number of days specified in elapsed days. |
